COVID -19 Patient Policy and Procedures
The Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak has spread rapidly across the globe and presents a unique public health challenge. Due to our commitment to employee and patient safety regarding the COVID-19 outbreak; we continue to update and implement new company policies following recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Arizona Department of Health.
COVID-19 is a community spread virus. We are taking many precautions including screening and requiring masks of all who enter our buildings. We have increased our already strict cleaning efforts to more frequent cleanings of high use areas of our buildings with special attention to our high touch areas.
Watch for Symptoms
People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms or combinations of symptoms may have COVID-19. If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms please contact your PCP of go to an urgent Care facility or ER:
• Fever or chills
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Muscle or body aches
• New loss of taste or smell

This list does not include all possible symptoms. CDC will continue to update this list as we learn more about COVID-19.
Guests and Caregivers
Due to the current pandemic we are taking measures to minimize the number of guests in our clinic. New patients, and those with physical handicaps or cognitive issues are allowed ONE visitor. No other guests will be allowed into the building. A family member or caregiver may listen in via phone during appointments for established patients. Additional caregivers and/or guests are advised to wait outside our office as we continue to practice social distancing. At the physician’s discretion patient appointments may be converted to tele-visits when appropriate.
