Veronica is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She was born and raised in Long Beach, CA and moved to the state of Arizona in 1989. Once she graduated high school, she moved to Fort Wayne, IN where she found a passion for making difference in the lives of others. She became a certified nursing assistant working in nursing homes caring for the elderly. She then went on to become a Medical Assistant in the beautiful state of Tennessee and working in different medical settings before returning back to Arizona to pursue her Associate’s degree in Nursing.
She completed her Associate’s in 2009 and began working in a medical-surgical/oncology unit before returning back to school to obtain her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. After completing her Bachelor’s degree, she started her work in a Master’s program with Chamberlain University and graduated in June of 2020.
She has worked in bone marrow transplant, outpatient infusion centers, and radiation oncology.
Veronica is health oriented, patient-centered and takes a holistic approach when caring for patients. She is passionate about helping people understand the importance of balanced eating, exercise, stress management and sleep hygiene.
She lives with her husband and their 4-legged fur babies. Her and her husband are foster dog parents for 2 rescues in Arizona and foster when they can. She has an adult son who lives in AZ. She enjoys traveling, taking pictures of nature when she can, loves all things space, exercising on her Peloton bike, and spending time with friends and family (which includes the dogs).Contact Us
