DESCRIPTION:Breast Cancer Survivorship Series \nWednesdays\, 12-1pm \n\nJoin our Integrative Oncologist\, Dr. Heidi Rula\, the Supportive Care Services Team\, Dr. Anderson\, Dr. Okolo-Taku\, and Karen Bustillo PT for a virtual 12-week course that navigates Breast Cancer Survivorship. The wellness course addresses many educational topics important to the breast cancer survivor including natural approaches to managing common symptoms physical therapy approaches to breast surgery rehabilitation breast imaging surveillance environmental toxins and their role in breast health stress management techniques coping with the fear of recurrence imagining the new you nutrition for the breast cancer survivor fad diets & weight loss restoring sexual health The program is an educational program with a 30-45 min presentation of the topic and time for open discussion among the group. The virtual course\, on Zoom\, will begin Wednesday\, June 19\, 2024 from 12-1pm and will meet each Wednesday thereafter\, through September 4\, 2024.
