Ironwood’s Kara Biber Awarded As Guardian Angel
The Guardian Angel program at Dignity Health provides a unique way for patients or family members to recognize a physician, nurse, housekeeper, volunteer, chaplain, or other staff members who made a special difference during their visit or stay.
The Foundation is honored to recognize Guardian Angels by presenting them with a card informing them of the donor’s thoughtful gift as well as a custom pin to wear, designating them as a special member of our Community of Caring. We would like to congratulate Ironwood Cancer & Research centers Kara Biber, RD for receiving this honor.
Kara Biber is a Registered Dietitian who received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nutrition from Arizona State University and Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Maine.
She completed her dietetic internship at Murray State University in Paducah, Kentucky, and will complete her Master’s of Science Degree in Nutrition from Murray State University in 2021.
Kara has been working as a clinical dietitian in the acute care setting over the past 3 years.
