Turmeric & Ginger Smoothie

Curcumin is the main active ingredient in turmeric and is a very strong antioxidant. If fights inflammation in various ways at the molecular level and as a result inflammation is reduced throughout the body. Ginger keeps your mouth healthy and it’s antibacterial power may also brighten your smile!
Ingredients:
-1 Frozen ripe banana
-1/2 cup of frozen pineapple
-1/2 cup of frozen mango
-1/2 teaspoon fresh turmeric
-1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger
-2 large organic carrots
-Pinch of black pepper
-1/2 cup of plain Greek yogurt
-1 cup of full fat coconut milk
Instructions:
-Place the fruit, coconut milk, yogurt, vegetables, and pepper in your blender and puree until smooth.
-Add more milk to thin your smoothie if desired.
-To give your smoothie a boost, top with fresh shredded coconut, chis seeds, and crystallized ginger.
-Feel free to add one scoop of protein if you desire.
