Keegan originally pursued a Bachelor’s in Social Work at Western Kentucky University in 2001. She then decided that becoming a nurse would more closely align with her goals of caring for the community and obtained her Associates in Nursing at Ivy Tech Community College in Indianapolis, Indiana. She began her nursing career on a progressive care unit at IU Health North Hospital in Carmel, Indiana. She then went on to obtain her Bachelor’s in Nursing at Western Governor’s University and moved with her family to Scottsdale in 2013. She enjoyed working as a nursing supervisor at Honor Health John C. Lincoln Medical Center until her desire to expand her career and have a greater impact on her patients motivated her to pursue her MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She attended Samuel Merritt University and became board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Like so many, Keegan’s family has been deeply affected by cancer and she recognizes the importance of competent and compassionate care.
