Dr. Tam Nguyen is a board certified Radiation Oncologist and joined Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers in July of 2021. He previously practiced in Show Low, Arizona and Las Vegas where he was voted Castle Connolly Regional Top Doctor for 2014-2018. He is also served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at University Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dr. Nguyen completed medical school at the University of Missouri, Columbia and residency at the University of Arizona in Tucson. He specializes in gastrointestinal, lung, head & neck, and skin & sarcoma malignancies. He enjoys teaching and has helped instruct Medical Oncology and Gynecological Oncology fellows in the role of radiation therapy.
Outside of work, his activities include exploring the Arizona lakes and mountains, spending time with his wife and three young children along with two dogs.
