Jennifer Bernt (Thompson), MSN, FNP-C

Jennifer was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina where her family still resides. She first obtained her Associates Degree in Nursing in 2000 at Trident Technical College in Charleston. She has since held many positions taking care of oncology patients as an RN.

She has worked in many settings in Virginia, Florida, and has lived in Arizona since 2008. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare management in 2006 from Kaplan University, and her Master’s in Nursing in 2018 from Grand Canyon University. Not only has she helped thousands of people through their cancer journey as a nurse, but her family has also been affected by cancer and she has a true passion for this special population. She is elated to be working with Dr. Kalmadi at Ironwood!

Jennifer resides in Chandler with her husband and their two dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, quilting, hiking, cooking, movies, and spending time with friends. She travels when she can, often visiting her family in South Carolina, but also loves to see different places in the world!
