Urology

Manuel Eisenberg MD is fellowship-trained in the treatment of urologic cancers including cancer of the prostate, kidney, testicles, and bladder. He is versed in advanced robotic, laparoscopic, and open surgical techniques. This allows him to offer the optimal individualized treatment approach on a patient-by-patient basis.

Dr. Eisenberg has spent his career helping patients through the difficult time of a cancer diagnosis and treatment. He seeks to make sure every patient understands their disease and the treatment options available to them. He ensures that every person can make an educated decision on what treatment best suits his or her individual needs. Dr. Eisenberg has worked with leaders in the field of urologic cancer surgery as well as Radiation and Medical Oncology. He believes in a multidisciplinary approach to give all patients the optimal treatments based on the stage of their disease and their personal preferences.

In addition to his emphasis on urologic malignancies, Manuel Eisenberg MD is trained in general urology. He treats in benign prostatic hyperplasia, kidney stone disease, urinary problems, low testosterone, erectile dysfunction, blood in the urine, and urinary incontinence.

Manuel Eisenberg MD graduated as a Regents Scholar from the University of California, Berkeley. He then attended the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He completed his internship in general surgery at the University of Southern California/Los Angeles County Medical Center. His Urology training was completed at the USC Institute of Urology.

Dr. Eisenberg then completed a 2-year Society of Urologic Oncologist accredited fellowship in Urologic Oncology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Manuel Eisenberg MD has published over 20 scientific journal articles, several book chapters, and presented at numerous conferences across the country.

Dr. Eisenberg sees patients at the Ironwood Urology Gilbert location which is a division of Ironwood Physicians.
