Miguel Cajipe, MD

Urology

Miguel Cajipe MD returned to the East Valley to join Ironwood Urology. He was born in raised in Manila, Philippines and eventually moved to Chandler in 2005. He pursued his undergraduate studies in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Iowa where he was on the Dean’s List and President’s List for numerous semesters before graduating with Highest Distinction. His medical training started at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston where his interest in Urology started as a medical student. Eventually, he completed a 5-year residency at UT Health Urology in San Antonio receiving several accolades for his dedication to resident and medical student education along the way.

Dr. Cajipe treats all aspects of general urology in both men and women. He is interested in kidney stones, prostatic enlargement, as well as urologic cancer and is trained in open, laparoscopic, and robotic surgery. During his training, he was able to publish research in male infertility, bladder cancer, and renal cancer. Dr. Cajipe prides himself not only in his patient care and surgical skills but also in his bedside manner.

When he is not taking care of patients, Dr. Cajipe enjoys being active with weight training as well as sports like volleyball and dodgeball. He takes care of an 85-lb goldendoodle and loves to bake bread on the weekends. He is excited to be back in Arizona with his family and is looking forward to taking care of patients with his colleagues at Ironwood Urology.

Dr. Cajipe sees patients at the Ironwood Urology Phoenix office which is a division of Ironwood Physicians.
