Dr. Frank L. Simoncini Awarded Center of Excellence

Valley leading prostate pioneer, Dr. Frank Simoncini of Southeast Valley Urology was awarded Center of Excellence for the Urolift Procedure. Dr. Simoncini has surpassed 250 Urolift procedures to help BPH patients.

As one of the first urologists in the United States to perform this procedure for his patients, the Gilbert based prostate doctor was one of the earliest advocates for this pioneering method of treating prostate enlargement. The minimally invasive procedure is used for men with BPH. This recognition was recently featured in the On the Move section of the Phoenix Business Journal.

When asked about the importance of focusing on men’s prostate health, Simoncini said, “Spending the last thirty years of my career treating men’s health issues I have tried to stay on the cutting edge of technology. I  offer the most  efficacious and minimally invasive therapies to my patients.  My goal with men’s health is superior results with the least side effects and downtime.”

Dr. Simoncini is a cancer survivor and understands the cancer treatment as a physician, of course, but also as a patient. Dr. Simoncini has appeared on numerous episodes of Caring For Arizona on Channel 3 in Phoenix.  Dr. Simoncini sees patients at Southeast Valley Urology a division of Ironwood Physicians in Gilbert.
