Join our very own Dr. Edgar Hernandez at Ironwood Cancer and Research Centers business office for lunch on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM as he discusses his new book entitled, Miguel Hernandez: Mystic.
Mystic is the true story of Dr. Edgar Hernandez’s older half-brother Miguel, who was a father-figure to him. Miguel’s remarkable life brought inspiration, happiness, and even transformation for many of his friends.
Although his formal education ended in the third grade, Miguel possessed rare wisdom that fostered deep connections with human beings. He provided safety and a path for green card status to illegal immigrants. He improbably became close friends with the Immigration Office.
Miguel improved the lives of so many people he came to know during his life, and with this recounting of Miguel’s story, his legacy continues even after his pass. The book, Miguel Hernandez: Mystic will be available for purchase.
